Annecy is approximately 28 miles (45 km) from Chateau St. Philippe.

Lake Annecy is one of the jewels of the Alps and the Savoie region.  It has a very seductive air about it, with summits which frame its dark blue waters. The lake offers beautiful views as well as water sports including sailing and water skiing.

Annecy dates from the twelfth century and is full of historic sights, pedestrian areas and great cuisine!  Here are a couple of photos of the lake and the town.
